Basically, I’m a nerd who loves nerdy things — and whose jokes only make other nerds laugh.

Most of my time is spent with my hands on the keyboard, eyes glued to the screen, and a cup of coffee dangerously close to the laptop.
I live somewhere between lines of code and terminal windows, always chasing that tiny spark of satisfaction when something finally works. I love solving problems through code, automating tasks (even when it takes longer than doing them manually), and building things that make life a bit easier — or at least more fun.

Right now, I’m pursuing a PhD at the University of Trieste, exploring research that blends data science and artificial intelligence with the infrastructure that powers them.
My work often lives at the intersection of software and systems — where applications meet infrastructure, and research turns into deployable solutions.

Outside academia, I enjoy experimenting with open-source tools, running self-hosted services on my homelab (including this very site!), and occasionally breaking things just to see if I can fix them better.
I like tinkering with automation workflows, monitoring dashboards, and anything that turns chaos into something reproducible. Sometimes I even document it — when I remember that future-me will appreciate it.
